2018

Starting up

Digitalum starts as a business unit under the Java expert organization Continuum Consulting. Digitalum thus becomes part of a group of complementary sister organizations including Privatum (data privacy and GDPR specialists) & Sirus (.NET and IoT experts)

Digitalum moves into the offices of Continuum in Lummen. The historic pyramid in Lummen will become the base of operations for the coming years.

The first four

Our first employee starts. The team will eventually grow to 4 members by the end of 2018. All employees are senior in their field.

Finishing strong

After several smaller local projects, Digitalum attracts its first major international multinational as a customer.

2019

Adobe partner

After only six months, Digitalum becomes an Adobe Community partner. That same year, Digitalum became an Adobe Bronze partner for Adobe Experience Cloud implementations.

SAP Partner

A few months after acquiring the Adobe partnership, Digitalum becomes SAP Silver Partner for SAP Commerce Cloud implementations.

Legal Entity

Digitalum becomes its own legal entity and is no longer a business unit within Continuum Consulting. Serge Craeghs joins the team and as a managing partner will take care of the customer and partner ecosystem.

Merelbeke Office

The first employee from the western region starts at Digitalum. He’ll work out of the office in Merelbeke near Ghent. Digitalum will build a second team of experts to support customers in this region.

2020

Growing

Digitalum starts 2020 with 15 employees and 3 new international customers. We continue to grow and are on the lookout for more digital talent.

Jaga B2B webshop

Jaga publicly announces its intent to launch a B2B webshop to sell its products directly to installers. Digitalum is selected as a partner for this radical transformation in a rather ‘traditional’ industry.

2021

NPS survey

2021 started off with a bang after we received the results of our NPS survey. We achieved a scrore of +82.

Hubo Limburg United Sponsorship

A sponsorship deal with HUBO Limburg United basketball team is signed. We're pushing the envelope and generate awareness for our brand as employer through a partnership based on shared values such as sportmanship.

Digitalum and Vaimo announce strategic partnership

As Adobe solution partners, Vaimo and Digitalum are focused on the Adobe Experience Cloud but offer complementary skill sets. Vaimo focuses on delivering commerce solutions on Adobe Commerce Cloud, containing Magento Commerce, the world’s leading eCommerce engine. In contrast, Digitalum focuses on providing an excellent user experience through Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Campaign, and Adobe Analytics.

Expanding nearshore

We partnered up with a Portugese company to expand our nearshore activities.

2022

Continued strong growth

New year, new headcount number to be shared. We're now with 51 e-commerce and CX game-changers.

2023

New office

With over 50 people it was time to say goodbye to our beloved Pyramid. We found our new home not far away at 1 Eurostraat 3500 Hasselt.
